Sergey Chekryzhov

The author of the soundtrack is Sergey Chekryzhov, the composer and arranger of the “Nord Ost” musical, also the author of a number of musical themes for TV and commercials, the leader and music author for a band named “Neschastnyi Sluchay” (“Accident”) . One of his latest works is the music for the film “Czar’s Servant”.

The tracks for the film are chosen by Oleg Pshenichny, the music editor, who worked with “Peter FM” motion picture.

Sergey Chekryzhov:
“The city, the megapolis, that grows with the new floors of the buildings and offices every day, and dies in traffics to resurrect in the morning, - our old friend and an old teaser as well – is one of the main characters of the film.
That is why the main music theme is the theme of the city through which one can feel Andrey’s emotional moves (another main character of our film). We see this dynamics – from the positive beginning till the full-flower of dramatic emotions of the night.
There is also music not under city’s control – the child theme, an eternal theme of a new life being born.”
